SC ST Act, 1989

This act is popularly known as The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. The act has been enacted on 11 September 1989 to prevent atrocities against scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST).
